Another bad start to the week......
Well yesterday me and Andrew woke up to an email from his boss stating, they can no longer afford to have him as an employee because the market is so bad and investers are putting a hold on their projects. Great. For those of you who don't know, Andrew also lost his job back in March for the same reason, he was not employed for almost 5 months, he finally got what he called his "dream job" in August and has now lost that too. Right before Christmas. So needless to say we have alot of thinking to do, construction is obviously not the place to be right now, but that is all he knows. Also ever since we have been married we have only needed one car because he always had a company vehicle, when he lost his job back in March it was a constant struggle because he needed my car to go look for a job and to do side jobs. But I need my car to get me and the kids out of the house, and take Haylee to school. So here we are....again.....back at square one. What are we going to do about a car for Andrew? What are we going to do about a job, the market is so flooded with people that his chances are extremely slim of finding another job in his field. Our thoughts for now are maybe we sell our car (which I love) its a minivan but its so great for the kids the doors open on their own with the push of a button, and its so spacious and big among other things, ok I got side tracked, so were thinking of selling that and spliting the money to get a car for Andrew. Anyways I guess this is me venting and thinking out loud.

Wowza! That was tough... I think you're on the right track with your thoughts, but it's painful to swallow. I'm having Aric see if Jed needs any help with that new station and maybe Andrew can fly out here for a few weeks and earn some money. They desperately need the job finished by the end of the year so they are working long hours (like into the AM) but it could be worth it. I'll let you know tomorrow :) I love you my friends! Hang in there.

I am sorry to hear about that! It is such a scary situation. Also you have kids to add to the stress & of making sure their needs are met. I can't imagine.. I stress about me & my husband... We have our Truck between the two of us (My husband totaled our car back in June) thanks to our Lovely ALLSTATE insurance they covered 75% of what I owed on the car, so needless to say we are making two car payments still and only have one. Carpooling is no fun but, atleast we have one. My husband works two jobs and is about to lose one as well. Both of us are working & long long hours at that and scraping by. I think everyone is now starting to feel the effects of the bad economy. I think we should all be thankful for the things we do have right now and always. Life is tough, just take things one day at a time.... We'll all get through it together. I know we are not close close friends but, if you need anything let me know. I am here for you.
I was just talking with Syd and she told me what happened seriously I feel so bad... especially because he loved that job. I just can't believe it has happened twice now. I will text you Ty's number he is doing a few things on the side that he may need some help with... at least something unless you have already found something!
