Look very closely at this picture........can you tell whats missing?
This is the back of Haylee's ear, she came up to me saying that her ear was bleeding, the metal you see is the stud of her earing, now if you look very, very, very closely you can see the back of her earing placed ever so gently inside her earlobe. She proceeded to tell us how a couple days ago her earing was loose and so she pushed the back on really tight so that it wouldn't fall off, well she pushed it so hard onto her ear that it swelled up, and began to grow over the back of her earing, it had literally dissapeared INSIDE her ear, we had to peel the skin back to even see it. .......grose! For a moment there, we thought she may need it surgically removed, I didn't know how on earth we were going to get it out, but daddy wanted to "try" to get it out with tweezers

we were at the cabin but luckily Andrew's boy scout training taught him to always be prepared, so he just happend to have his first aid kit in his backpack...........

so with tweezers, neosporin, and a head light in tow, he got to work, peeling skin back, and pulling on the back, ripping a little of her ear as he went, Haylee screamed and fought and cried.....alot, but we got it out, whew....we then went to take out her other earing so that she didn't look goofy with just one earing......but she wanted us to just leave her alone.....

well it took her quite some time to recover from this tramatic experience......

only for us to realize the same thing happend to the other ear.....dang it!
