Happy Halloween

Well we had a very productive Halloween. The morning started off at Haylee's school, where they had their parade of costumes, then the kindergartners put on a concert with lots of scary Halloween songs. Later on around 6:30 we went out trick or treating with our neighbors, one thing we quickly realized is that people around here are grumps, most houses had their lights off, so the kids only got to trick or treat at about 5 houses on every street! They weren't to happy. So needless to say we did a lot of walking to make up for the homes who didn't feel the need to participate in handing out candy! Haylee is an old pro and knew exactly what to do, Aiden wasn't quite sure at first but once he realized candy was involved he quickly caught on. And cute little camden spent trick or treating in his stroller wondering what in the world these crazy kids were doing. We did have one incident when Haylee's trick or treat bag broke open all over the lawn, she had a moment of panic and almost let the tears go, but we gathered up the treats and luckily had an extra bag. Once it started raining and getting extremely windy, we decided we ought to call it a night, so we walked home candy in hand, and spent the rest of the night looking through the findings.

Of course Camden spent the rest of the night hovering over his brother and sisters hard work!
